Growing fleet of great airplanes that are maintained and available. Good tech/avionics in the plane great for learning. The instructors are top notch. Plenty of full time CFIs available to match your schedule. They have some part time instructors who work for Airlines or Private Jet operators providing different perspectives of the industry. The school is a family owned business and they do a great job helping you as an individual train at your own pace. I like the personalized training and experience you won’t find at other corporate “pilot mill” schools. "I completed my Private Pilot License (PPL) training at Airplane and Attitude (A&A) after having prior flight experience at other schools. Compared to those, A&A stood out significantly in terms of aircraft quality and the overall learning experience. From the beginning, the process was relatively straightforward —thanks to Jamie, whose responsiveness and effective use of technology made registration and scheduling incredibly user-friendly. The integration of digital tools throughout the training added efficiency and convenience that I didn’t experience before. My primary instructor, Ben Riggs, was exceptional. He combines deep aviation knowledge with strong teaching skills and, just as importantly, patience a trait that’s invaluable when teaching complex skills repeatedly. Ben’s approachability and professionalism make him an outstanding CFI. Throughout my training, I also had progress evaluations with Holly and Caleb, both of whom conducted their assessments with professionalism and attention to detail( very similar to DPE which help me understand how would be the experience on check-ride). Their thoughtful feedback was helping me identify areas that needs improvement. A&A’s aircraft quality is another major strength—not once did I experience a flight cancellation due to mechanical issues. The planes are exceptionally well-maintained, both mechanically and aesthetically. For a student like me, the clean and consistent interiors made it easier to focus and learn effectively. In summary, the combination of well-maintained aircraft, skilled and personable instructors, and a well-structured training system sets A&A apart. Choosing the right school is critical—not doing so can result in wasted time and money.
